The main difference between this mill and other abandoned ones is the presence of the complete sheet roofing. Some guys on the farm opposite the mill said that the roof was bult in the 80's, though no one knows who did it and why. But the fact is that thanks to the roof the mill is very well preserved.

Where are the pictures and the descriptions of the mechanism? - you may ask and you will be absolutely right. Alas. We could not enter the mill. No, it's not that it's closed. The door was wide open, but inside there was literally a camp of tramps, with an unforgettable smell and view. Logically, we did not take a chance to go inside the mill, although it apparently does not leak, and on the outside there was a sail (including the boards, which is rare) and the remains of the tailpole. What else, from the outside the mill looks smaller than other Volga mills, so we are not sure that two pairs of millstones can fit inside. We also do not know anything about whether the restoration of the roof affected the interior of the mill in any way.
