Additional description
Living in these places is unbearably difficult. Farming - among continuous forests and swamps - is almost impossible. These are the places of exiles and fugitives. First settlers on the North of the modern Tomsk region were old believers. Then in 1930 years deportation here of dispossessed and unreliable was started. 12 villages along Shudelka river were founded. In one of these villages - Stepnoe - this windmill was built by deported from Transbaikal. In 1950 people were allowed to go away and villages became abandoned. Now hunters from villages along Ob river hunt here. Straight distance from inhabited Inkino village is 50 kilometers, distance by forest roads is 98 kilometers. Hunters found the windmill in 2010.

If you are interested in history of deported people and the windmill - excellent film (2021 year) is here and its text materials are here.

If you are interested only in the windmill - excellent small film (2019 year) is here. Photos of the same year are here.

It can be seen between these two films how much windmill was destroyed in this two years.

This is the most eastern windmill in Russia! Hey, museums in Novosibirsk, Tomsk or Omsk, do you want to pay attention to it?
