Additional description
kimzha
The mill in Kalach has been made up of two mills: the main log construction house was brought from the village of Pirogovo, the mechanism of this mill has not not preserved. The rotating cap and the internal mechanism were taken from the mill in Semenovka. The windmill – a Chernozem smock – is small, has no barn, and one pair of millstones. With time the sails have tilted and now they are not at right angle to each other, however, in general the mill is being looked after.

The museum does not have very standard working hours so, check in advance. Unfortunately, we couldn't get inside the mill.
