Windmill from Vishnevyi village
Short descriptionThe windmill from the village of Vishnevyi (Klimovskiy district, Bryanskaya oblast) was built around the end of 19th century or in 1931 year, is located on a historical site. Smock mill with an unknown number of sails and two pairs of millstones. Sheathed Frame. Unique details: millstones are located under great spur wheel of the vertical shaft. Was used as a flour mill (flour).

Additional description
Probably this windmill with windmill from Zhastkovo village (in poor condition) are the only two historical windmills in Russia with very different mechanism design. Spindle is going downward from great spur wheel (instead of upward in general). Millstones are on the first floor instead of the second floor. There are a variety of such windmills in Belarus and Ukraine. We are in the process of learning.
